Trey Anastasio: Shine

Shine

This was a pretty good album, great lyrics, and catchy tunes by Trey Anastasio. Shine - what you will get are solid rock, slather guitar, and punchy drums, all coming out of your speakers like it was 70's again. Shine is a much more converntional, structured and polished construction.

I like it very much, especially the guitar solo bends on "Wherever you may find it" and “Sleep Again”, is soulful. From the title track to the closing track there are alot of fantastic melodies, the songs that I come back to most are “Sweet Dreams Melinda” and “Air Said to Me”. lyrics are all written by Trey Anastasio, he is really an amazing musician.

Great album overall.

Jamie Cullum - Twentysomething

Twentysomething

Outstanding! Is the only word i can describe the latest release from excellent British jazz-piano-pop singer Jamie Cullum. Twentysomething captures an essence of the jazz spirit. Twentysomething is the fastest selling jazz album in UK jazz history, and Jamie Cullum is the biggest selling UK jazz artist ever. Jamie Cullum won the Best Newcomer Award at the Radio 3 Jazz Awards, but was also nominated for Best Breakthrough Artist.

Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish. While the entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 1 - "These Are The Days", track 5 - "Lover, You Should've Come Over", track 9 - "High and Dry", track 14 - "What A Diff'rence A Day Made".

Former Beatle - Paul McCartney

Memory Almost Full

I would like to say this album has surprised me as much as the previous album, "Chaos and Creation". This is a spectacular album, beautifully arranged and full of surprises especially "Mr. Bellamy", "Feet in the Clouds" and "End of the End. "Lyrics are genuinely fine in "You Tell Me" and fantastic bass playing on "See you shunshine". These upbeat tracks caught my attention initially, It's real beauty of the songs.

The drums are crisp, the bass is amazing, the acoustic guitars are snappy, the electric guitars sound like chain saws. His voice is literally a refined instrument with vast range.

Go pick it up and listen to it--you will enjoy it!

Avril Lavigne - "The Best Damn Thing"

The Best Damn Thing

I can say that I am really surprised with the Avril's new CD when I first listened to it because it is so different from the other ones.
She has a wonderful voice and she is a punk rock princess. Her album shows how much she has changed since her teens.

My favourite from the album are "Girlfriend" - it's a light-hearted song, and slow song "Keep Holding on". I like the song "Everything Back But You", "Best Damn Thing" and like all the rest of the songs in this album. You won't regret buying this album.

Awesome tunes played by an awesome band - Muse

Black Holes and Revelations

Personally, i love this album. The opener 'Take a Bow' is a brillient song. Beautiful choruses like 'Starlight', 'Super Massive Black Hole', 'Asassin', and 'Knights of Cydonia' are also excellent.

From the powerful opening tracks lyrics of "Take a Bow" to the final "Knights of Cydonia", it seldom slows down or disappoints you. The opening track set the tone and ending track finishes this mastepiece off in epic style.

Muse is the most talented band and Matt is the best guitarist.

Michael Jackson - KING OF POP

Thriller

Well, i am such a HUGE fan of Michael Jackson and I just adore this album! It's a masterpice, and that is the reason for it success. Thiller is the number 1 selling album of all time which had sold over 50 million copies worldwide.

Great hits such as "wanna be startin' something", "PYT", "Baby Be Mine", "Lady In My Life", "billie jean", "beat it", and "human nature" is so unforgetable tracks. I have listend to the album thousands of times and im still not bored of it. I am enjoyed watching his music videos over and over again. He is the true KING OF POP.

Thriller to me is perfection in an album, it had pop, soul, disco, hard rock, funk, and best of all. I rate this album 10 out of 10. It is the biggest and possibly the best album in the history of music.
