Love and Affection After achieving little recognition with their Pyromania album but great success with their fans around the world Def Leppard took a further 4 years to create their next album Hysteria.
A great deal had happened in between those four years none worse so than drummer Rick Allen loosing his arm in a car crash but with the band being determined not to employ a replacement for their friend they gave him the encouragement he needed to relearn his art and become one of the most recognizable and brilliant drummers of his time.
The album itself I would argue is the bands best of all time as it does give a great idea to those who were not around what 80’s rock was all about and why it became so popular. The tunes themselves are catchy and most of all fun. One of those albums were you could spend all afternoon pretending to take the lead and sing into your hairbrush!
